You

Now, you probably weren’t expecting You to make the list since it’s not a horror, but Joe Goldberg and his murderous doings make it the perfect show to watch this Halloween.

You is a psychological thriller series created by Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble. It’s a television adaptation of the You book series by Caroline Kepnes. The story follows sociopathic serial killer Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley), who goes to extraordinary lengths to insert himself into the lives of those he becomes obsessed with. Joe has no problem getting rid of anyone who gets in his way, which ultimately gets him in deep trouble and forces him to relocate.

Originally, You was a Lifetime series before the television network decided to pass on a second season due to low ratings on the first season. However, once Netflix picked up the show, it gained a bigger following and became an instant hit. There have been four seasons released so far, with a fifth and final season on the way.

It has been praised for its well-written scripts, perfect casting, unpredictability, character development, and outstanding performances. Overall, You definitely brings the thrills, provides a good amount of suspense, and leaves you desperately wanting more by the end of each season.

You season 2 is the best season, in my opinion. But why don’t you give the show a watch and let me know which season is your favorite?
