October is here! Spooky season has officially started, and Netflix is adding a bunch of new movies and shows to their lineup. This includes some anime,  a bunch of franchises coming to the streaming service, and a couple of Oscar-winning movies.

First up, let’s talk about One Piece. The live-action version of the anime series recently came to Netflix and now the anime series itself is coming to the streaming service on Oct. 1, 2023. The series follows a pirate captain named Monkey D. Luffy and his crew as they look for the greatest treasure of all time so that Luffy can become the next Pirate King. The hidden treasure has been missing for decades and is called One Piece.

There are also a bunch of franchise series headed to Netflix on Oct. 1 as well. This includes The Amazing Spider-Man, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, the first four Mission Impossible movies, and Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2. If any of these franchises are your faves, you can have a full movie night thanks to Netflix.
