Everyone’s gearing up for the release of Netflix’s live-action adaptation of the popular manga series Yu Yu Hakusho. While waiting for its release in December 2023, people have been keeping themselves busy by watching the anime adaptation. However, not everyone knows where they can watch the anime series. If you’re one of those people, we’ve got you covered and shared where it’s available to stream right below.

Yu Yu Hakusho is an anime adaptation of the manga series of the same name by Yoshihiro Togashi. It was directed by Noriyuki Abe and co-produced by Fuji Television, Yomiko Advertising, and Studio Pierrot. The entire series, consisting of 112 episodes, aired on the Japanese television station Fuji Television from Oct. 10, 1992, to Dec. 17, 1994.

Now, people in the United States can watch the anime series. But can they watch it on Netflix? Here’s what we know.

Is the Yu Yu Hakusho anime on Netflix?

Unfortunately, the anime series is not available to stream on Netflix. However, it is available on other streaming platforms so you’ll have to look elsewhere to watch this anime. Where to watch the Yu Yu Hakusho anime

There are three places where you can watch the Yu Yu Hakusho anime: Hulu, Crunchyroll, and Funimation. However, it’s important we mention that you’ll have to have a paid subscription to these streaming services to gain access to the episodes. Hulu only carries episodes 1-56, while Crunchyroll and Funimation carries all 112 episodes of the series.

"From cutting classes to brawling in the streets, Yusuke Urameshi is not your typical role model. In fact, this kid’s nothing more than a fourteen-year-old delinquent with a talent for trouble. But in a single selfless act Yusuke dies while saving another. For such noble sacrifice he is given a second chance at life, but it’s to be a life far different than the one left behind. Now a Spirit Detective, the young man must track down demons and humans alike who desire to rule over the three realms of reality."
