Obsessed movie cast: Who stars in the Beyoncé movie?

Beyoncé has always been a superstar, but before transitioning almost full-time to music, she occasionally acted in several notable films like Austin Powers, The Pink Panther, Dreamgirls, and more. One of her most popular movies is Obsessed, a cheesy, but super entertaining, domestic thriller movie about a married couple being terrorized by a stalker.

Beyoncé plays Sharon Charles, a sophisticated woman in a seemingly happy marriage to her husband Derek Charles. But when Derek gets a new secretary at work, it’s not long before she begins flirting with him shamelessly and obsessing over him. Lisa Sheridan will do whatever it takes to get Derek all to herself.

Obviously, the film’s star Beyoncé Knowles is someone who needs no introduction. She’s currently on the Renaissance World Tour, but she’s also lent her voice to movies like The Lion King and Epic. In the past, she’s also starred in movies like Dreamgirls and The Pink Panther.

The other female lead in this movie is the stalker in question determined to destroy Sharon’s life and steal her husband, Derek. Ali Larter plays Lisa while Idris Elba stars as Charles. Larter is probably best known for her starring role in the superhero show Heroes.

She made her her film debut in the 1999 movie Varsity Blues and then went on to star in projects like Pitch, Final Destination, House on Haunted Hill, and she is recognized often for playing Clare Redfield in several of the live-action Resident Evil movies.

Elba is a Golden Globe and Emmy-nominated actor who rose to prominence on the acclaimed HBO series The Wire. He also starred in Luther and was in Luther: The Fallen Sun, which debuted earlier this year on Netflix. Some of his other notable roles include playing Heimdall in the MCU, Nelson Mandela in Mandela: A Long Walk to Freedom, and Commandment in Beasts of No Nation.
