Happy September! A new month means new Netflix shows. This week, the streamer released 45 new titles, including Riverdale season 7 and new episodes of Disenchantment. Below are some recommendations for your weekend binge, with two titles you can skip.

This week’s top Netflix shows include Who is Erin Carter?, the latest seasons of The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On and Ragnarok, and Suits, the USA Network’s legal drama.

This weekend’s top show is the newly released limited series Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones. This documentary travels the world with author Dan Buettner as he investigates five communities where residents live extraordinarily long lives.

September 2023 has loads of notable new titles released throughout the month, including the new season of Virgin River (Sept. 7) and the highly anticipated live-action adaptation of the popular manga/anime series One Piece, now available to stream.

Riverdale season 7

WATCH! The seventh and final season of The CW series Riverdale is now available to stream. Fans are reluctant to say goodbye to Archie and the rest, but the time is here. This season, the teen drama, based on characters from the Archie comics, will pick up where the previous one left off. The sixth season introduced a supernatural element to the storyline, and the final season will focus on the gang, who had been sent back in time to the 1950s, and their journey back to reality.

Love is Blind: After the Altar season 4

SKIP! Married couples celebrate their one-year anniversaries, and singles look back on their lives in the past year in season 4 of Love is Blind: After the Altar. The series is a followup to the Love is Blind reality series (new season Sept. 22), where singles agree to marry someone without ever meeting them. After the Altar looks back at the participants of the previous season and how they are faring. If you are into reality dating series and have watched the fourth season of Love is Blind, this may be the show for you. toherwise, skip it this weekend.

Disenchantment part 5

WATCH! The final installment of episodes for the Netflix original series Disenchantment, from The Simpsons and Futurama creator Matt Groening, is here. Fans have waited over a year for new episodes of the adult animated series. This season, Queen Bean and Elfo, with her personal demon Luci, battle for Dreamland against Queen Dagmar’s wicked rule.

Miss Adrenaline: A Tale of Twins season 1

SKIP! Using an often-seen scenario of twins separated at birth, the telenovela Miss Adrenaline: A Tale of Twins sees one twin pose as the other to bring killers to justice and discover why they were separated. The series currently has 26 episodes available in the 65-episode season. Fans of telenovelas may be on board with this story, but otherwise, there is nothing new to see here; skip it.

S.W.A.T. season 6

WATCH! Season 6 of the CBS police procedural series SWAT has been released on the streamer. Based on the 1975 series and 2003 movie, the new series was initially canceled and then renewed for a seventh and final season. The 22-episode season will continue to follow Sergeant Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson of the LAPD and his special tactical unit as they solve L.A.-based crimes.
