My Dad the Bounty Hunter season 3: Will there be another season on Netflix?

One of the best kid-animated series on Netflix is back! My Dad the Bounty Hunter season 2 is now available to stream, and the new episodes that dropped are more action-packed than ever. Since this show is so entertaining to watch, I’m sure it won’t take you long to finish all the episodes. So will there be a My Dad the Bounty Hunter season 3? Here’s everything we know about a potential third season.

Created by Everett Downing Jr. and Patrick Harpin, My Dad the Bounty Hunter follows an intergalactic bounty hunter named Terry who tries to hide his job from his kids and wife but is soon found out when his kids accidentally hitch a ride with him on his latest work trip. Together, Terry and his kids, Lisa and Sean, embark on a journey they’ll never forget.

The second season follows Lisa and Sean as they go on yet another hyperspace adventure, but this time to find their missing dad. Along with their mom, Tess, Lisa and Sean search all over the galaxy to find Terry.

Laz Alonso voices the main character, Terry. Stranger Things star Priah Ferguson voices Lisa, while JeCobi Swain voices Sean. Lastly, Emmy-nominated actress Yvonne Orji voices Tess.

Is My Dad the Bounty Hunter season 3 happening at Netflix?

As of Aug. 18, it’s unknown if there will be a My Dad the Bounty Hunter season 3. Netflix has not mentioned a word about a third season, but no one should be worried just yet. Since the second season was just recently released, it’ll likely be a while before we hear anything about a third season.

Netflix doesn’t usually announce a show’s renewal so soon after a new season has premiered. Depending on how the second season fares on Netflix will most likely determine if more episodes will be coming in the future. However, there’s a chance that Netflix could’ve already secretly ordered more episodes. But we won’t know unless the streamer reveals this information. For now, we’ll just have to wait and see what Netflix decides to do.
