Mask Girl is one of the many K-Dramas that Netflix revealed would be coming out in 2023. It was written and directed by Kim Yong-Hoon with production by House of Impression and Bonfactory.
Based on the Naver webtoon of the same name by Mae-mi, Mask Girl follows an ordinary office worker named Kim Mo-mi. Kim Mo-mi has always been insecure about her looks, so she hides her face behind a mask and adopts an internet personality by the name of Mask Girl during her live streams at night. But Kim Mo-mi isn’t as innocent as one might think. An unforeseen incident triggers her transformation into a murderer, and she eventually finds herself put away for her heinous crimes.
In Mask Girl, viewers see Kim Mo-mi through three different periods in her life. We watch her rise from an ordinary office worker to a popular masked Cam model to her downward spiral when she becomes a prisoner. But who plays Kim Mo-mi? What about the other characters? Find out below.
