Baki Hanma season 3: Will there be another season of the action anime on Netflix?

Baki Hanma is one of Netflix’s best anime series streaming, and everyone’s ready to see the second half of the second season drop. Baki Hanma season 2 part 2 lands on Netflix on Aug. 24, and viewers get to watch Baki as he takes revenge on his father and lifelong enemy, Yuujirou Hanma, aka the Strongest Creature on Earth. But some fans of the anime series are wondering if they can expect a Baki Hanma season 3 in the future. Will there be a third season? We shared everything we know below.

Baki Hanma is a sequel to the Baki series on Netflix. The events in the sequel series take place after Baki’s victory over fighter Mohammad Alai Jr. Baki begins intensely training to prepare for his face-off against his all-powerful father. Baki enters Arizona State Prison and starts taking on and defeating different opponents such as Biscuit “Mr. Unchained” Oliva and Jun “Mr. Second” Guevaru.

In Baki Hanma season 2 part 1, Baki takes on a caveman named Pickle, who was found perfectly preserved deep inside the Earth since the Jurassic/Cretaceous era. Pickle is revived in the modern world and goes head to head with Baki in a battle he ends up winning. Now, Baki must face off against Yuujirou in a fight that is a long time coming in Baki Hanma season 2 part 2.

But will Baki’s story continue in a Baki Hanma season 3? Here’s what we know.

Is Baki Hanma season 3 happening at Netflix?

As of Aug. 9, 2023, a third season has not been announced by Netflix. However, there’s a possibility that we could see a continuation of the anime series since the manga it’s based on (Baki the Grappler) is still ongoing. In other words, there’s more from the manga that can be adapted in potential future seasons of the anime. Netflix just needs to give the green light. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
