Disenchantment from The Simpsons and Futurama creator Matt Groening is finally returning with its fifth and final season! Disenchantment part 5 will debut this September exclusively on Netflix.
It’s been well over a year since fans of the adult animated sitcom got new episodes, so it’s about time we received an update. In the fifth season, Bean and her friends, including her loyal pal Elfo and personal demon Luci, must work together to free Dreamland from Queen Dagmar once and for all. Meanwhile, Bean is also trying to outrun a prophecy that states she’ll kill someone she loves.

Disenchantment part 5 release date
The epic finale of Disenchantment will be released on Friday, September 1. New content comes to Netflix at midnight PT / 3:00 a.m. ET, so you should expect the latest episodes to become available at that time.
While Netflix has been splitting seasons into multiple parts lately, such as with The Lincoln Lawyer season 2 and The Witcher season 3, all episodes of Disenchantment part 5 are being released at the same time!
How many episodes will be in Disenchantment part 5?
Like the previous four parts, Disenchantment part 5 will consist of ten episodes. By the end of its run, Disenchantment will have produced 50 episodes altogether.

What will Disenchantment part 5 be about?
Here’s the official synopsis shared by Netflix:
"It all endeth here. The misadventures of hard-hitting, hard-drinking Queen Bean, her feisty elf companion Elfo and her personal demon Luci culminate in an epic battle for Dreamland in the fifth and final installment of Matt Groening’s comedy fantasy series Disenchantment.To save Dreamland from Queen Dagmar’s wicked rule, Bean must vanquish her mother and outrun a prophecy that foretells she will kill someone she loves. The stakes are as high as ever as our heroes face Satan, a headless corpse, an evil stientist and most terrifying of all- their true destiny."
Disenchantment part 5 teaser
So far, Netflix has just released a teaser for the next part, and it mostly functions as a short recap of Bean and her friends’ many adventures across the series so far. But we do get some sneak peeks at what’s to come as the narrator teases that this will be Bean’s biggest adventure yet, and characters ponder if Dreamland’s inhabitants will get a happily ever after!

Will there be a Disenchantment part 6?
Unfortunately, there will not be a Disenchantment part 6 on Netflix. The streaming service has advertised the upcoming fifth part as the “final installment,” meaning it will function as the show’s series finale.
