Heartstopper season 2 cast guide: Who’s who in the second season?

We’ve all been patiently waiting on Heartstopper‘s return, and luckily, the wait is finally over. Heartstopper season 2 is now streaming on Netflix, and everyone’s watching and talking about the new installment.

This season, we see the return of one of our favorite friend groups. Charlie and Nick are officially a couple, but this doesn’t mean everything is smooth sailing in their new relationship going forward. Remember, they were only out to their closest friends at the end of the first season. In Heartstopper season 2, they want to come out as a couple to everyone. And if you recall, Nick hasn’t revealed his sexuality to Imogen or his rugby friends. This is something he’ll have to deal with this season.

Elle and Tao are trying to determine if they want to become more than friends, while Darcy and Tara have their first major relationship obstacle. Then, there’s Isaac, who’s finally figuring out what he wants romance-wise.

Joe Locke as Charlie Spring

Charlie feels on top of the world when Heartstopper season 2 starts. He has a new boyfriend that he’s absolutely infatuated with, and it seems like nothing can bring him down. Well, that’s until he has to help Nick come out to everyone. Then, there’s the bullying he experienced in season 1. This season, we see how the extreme bullying has affected him. Will Nick be there to hold Charlie’s hand and help him through these tough times?
