The After Everything release date was just announced in July 2023. We don’t have to wait too much longer for the new movie. After Everything is the fifth movie of the After movie franchise, and After 5 is coming to Netflix soon, too.
Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Josephine Langford are back for the fifth film. It’s already been filmed, and it’s been in post-production for a while now. With all four After movies available to stream on Netflix in the United States, fans obviously want to know when the new movie will be available to stream on Netflix.

When will After 5 be released on Netflix?
We know that After Everything is coming to theaters in September 2023. That’s also when the last three After movies have been released.
So, you can watch After 5 on Netflix in September, right? Wrong. You’re going to have to wait a bit longer to watch the movie on Netflix.
When After Everything premieres in theaters this September, the movie will likely be available to stream on Netflix in December 2023. That’s what happened with After Ever Happy, the fourth film. It premiered in theaters in September 2022, and the movie was added to Netflix in December 2022.
UPDATE: After Everything will be released on Netflix on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024.

The film stars Sofia Carson, Nicholas Galitzine, Chosen Jacobs, John Harlan Kim, Kat Cunning, and Linden Ashby. It tells the story of a young singer with diabetes, Cassie, who is struggling to pay her debts. She meets and falls for Luke, a marine and former addict with problems and debt of his own. They couple up and try to make their relationship work.
2. Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between
Jordan Fisher, Talia Ryder, Ayo Edebiri, and Nico Hiraga star in the Netflix original movie, Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between. The movie tells the story of a young couple, Claire and Aiden, who take a trip down memory lane while trying to decide if their romantic relationship will continue or come to an end. The movie is based on the book of the same name by Jennifer E. Smith. If you like the After movies, I think you’ll enjoy this one on Netflix.
3. The Kissing Booth
You might have seen The Kissing Booth movies by now, but if not, there’s never a bad time to check out the teen romantic comedies starring Joey King, Jacob Elordi, and Joel Courtney on Netflix. Based on the book series of the same name by Beth Reekles, The Kissing Booth movies follow Elle as she tries to navigate love, friendship, and her place in the world. 4. To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before
Like The Kissing Booth, To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before has been on Netflix for a long time. The movie series stars Lana Condor and Noah Centineo as Lara Jean and Peter, two high school students who start their relationship with a lie. After Lara Jean’s secret love letters are mailed out, Lara Jean and Peter begin dating for mutually beneficial reasons. Then, the real feelings start to develop. Will they stick it out? 5. Five Feet Apart
Five Feet Apart is also a must-watch on Netflix for fans of the After movies. Cole Sprouse and Haley Lu Richardson as Stella and Will, two teens with Cystic Fibrosis, which means they aren’t allowed to be within six feet of each other. As they start their relationship, they start to push the boundaries of what’s possible in their lives.
6 and 7. Through My Window and Through My Window: Across the Sea
If you’re a fan of After, you’re going to like the Through My Window movies. They’re basically the Spanish version of After. Julio Peña and Clara Galle star in the movie series. Fans are already waiting for the third movie of the franchise to hit Netflix. It’s based on the book series by Ariana Godoy.
