2. Ginny and Georgia

There’s no debate Ginny and Georgia is right up there with Outer Banks when it comes to popular teen shows on Netflix. Ginny and Georgia premiered on Netflix in February 2021, and season 2 was added to the streaming service in January 2023.

The series tells the story of a small family who just moved to a small town and is dealing with trauma from their past. Ginny and Georgia isn’t all doom and gloom, though. There are some some comedic moments, and there’s a mystery of sorts!

Fans had to wait a super long time for the Ginny and Georgia season 3 renewal. Finally, in May 2023, Netflix renewed the series for season 3 and season 4! Unfortunately, the renewal was announced during the WGA strike. In the summer of 2023, SAG is on strike, so we have no idea where production stands on Ginny and Georgia season 3. We know the season is happening, and it’s one of the best and most popular Netflix shows we’ve seen so far this year, so we know fans are super excited to see what’s next. Especially after that season 2 cliffhanger ending.
