Freediving is an extreme sport that sees athletes rely on holding their breath underwater while diving, without using anything to help them breathe underwater like scuba gear. They train to be able to hold their breath for long periods of time while diving meters deep into a body of water. In a competition, the person who can go down the farthest wins.

The two lovers of the sport form a strong connection, chase their dreams, and show how there’s “thrilling rewards” but also “inescapable risks” with the dangerous sport.
