Sweet Magnolias is another one of our favorite feel-good series on Netflix. Two seasons have been released so far, with a third season expected to come out this summer. Production on the third season wrapped in October 2022 and we’ve been patiently waiting for any news regarding the release date ever since.

But we come bearing good news because we now know Sweet Magnolias season 3 is coming to Netflix on July 20, 2023! Mark your calendars because that’ll come up quickly.

The popular drama series first premiered in 2020 and quickly won over viewers’ hearts across the globe. It’s based on the book series of the same name by Sherryl Woods and follows three women living in South Carolina.

The main cast is made up of JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Heather Headley, and Brooke Elliott, who play best friends since childhood who help each other get through adversity. Through their romances and family struggles, the women are there for one another thick and thin, which is so sweet and inspiring to watch.

Sweet Magnolias has more of a lighthearted tone if you’re in the mood for a drama that’ll also make you smile.
