Netflix is adding 15 new movies and shows this week (July 2, 2023)

A new week is here! And it’s July! And because it’s a holiday week, it’s the perfect time to watch a bunch of stuff on Netflix. Luckily, they are adding plenty of new movies and shows for us to watch. This week, the new additions include a new season of a popular Netflix show, a new Netflix Original movie, and a new documentary.

The big show coming to Netflix this week is The Lincoln Lawyer! Season 2 part 1 hits Netflix on Thursday, July 6, 2023. Mickey Haller is back and busier than ever. Since winning his last high-profile case (although not in the way he would have liked), everyone wants a piece of him. But he doesn’t expect his services to be needed from a woman he’s seeing. Everything seems to be going fine until she’s charged with murder!

Looking for a new movie to watch this week? The Out-Laws is headed to Netflix on Friday, July 7. The film stars Pierce Brosnan, Ellen Barkin, Nina Dobrev, Adam Devine, Michael Rooker, and Lauren Lapkus. It follows a straight-laced banker who is about to marry Parker. But then he meets Parker’s parents. He is held up at the bank he works at and later finds out that the criminals that robbed the bank were his future in-laws. Yikes!

Want to check out a new documentary? WHAM! is coming to Netflix on Wednesday, July 5. The documentary follows the rise of the band and its two members, George Micheal and Andrew Ridgely, in the 70s and 80s. The film shows archival footage and interviews to take an in-depth look at the two friends and performers.
