The Out-Laws is coming to Netflix soon, and we have so much news to share about this upcoming action-comedy film!

We first received news of this film in November 2019. Deadline reported that Adam Devine was in talks to star in The Out-Laws. At the time, it wasn’t revealed what the movie would be about, who was in the cast, and when it would arrive on Netflix. A director hadn’t even been attached to the film yet.

We’ve learned so much more about this movie since then. The entire cast has been announced, and the plot and official release date have been revealed.

The Out-Laws release date

We had thought the movie would be released in late 2022, but that didn’t end up happening. On April 25, Netflix finally announced the official release date. Get ready because The Out-Laws lands on Netflix on Friday, July 7, 2023. As always, you can expect it to drop at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET on its release date. This movie will surely be one of the best summer releases on Netflix in 2023!

Pitch Perfect‘s Adam Devine leads the cast, with The Misfits star Pierce Brosnan set to co-star opposite Devine. On Oct. 28, several more cast members were announced to be in the film. We listed the cast members’ names down below:

The Out-Laws synopsis

Here’s the movie’s plot via Collider below:

"DeVine stars in The Out-Laws as Owen, a bank manager who is about to marry his fiancé Parker. Just as his in-laws come into town to visit, his bank is held up by a group of bandits known as the Ghost Bandits, with Owen believing the visiting in-laws to be the criminals."

I can already tell this movie is going to be funny! It’ll be interesting to see how real-life friends Adam Devine and Nina Dobrev play off each other in the film.

When was The Out-Laws filmed?

According to What’s on Netflix, filming reportedly started on Oct. 22, 2021, and ended on Dec. 18, 2021. It was also reported that production took place entirely in Atlanta, Georgia.
