When are new episodes of King the Land released on Netflix?

A new K-Drama that many people are watching and talking about is King the Land. It premiered on Netflix on June 17, and everyone’s looking forward to the new episodes. King the Land is a romantic comedy series directed by Im Hyun-wook from scripts written by Chun Sung-il and Choi Rom. You might recognize Im Hyun-wook as the director of the Korean melodrama Reflection of You. Additionally, Chun Sung-il is best known as one of the creators of the smash hit zombie series All of Us Are Dead.

It follows the story of Goo Won, a son from a chaebol family. He’s the heir to a luxury hotel conglomerate called The King Group and finds himself thrown into an inheritance war. He’s very charming, good-looking, and smart. But he lacks common sense when it comes to dating.

When he returns to King Hotel on a mission to recover his memory of his mother, he clashes with hardworking employee Cheon Sa-rang whose known to always have a smile on her face. They don’t initially get off on the right foot, but eventually sparks fly, and a romantic relationship develops.

Lee Jun-ho stars as Goo Won. You might recognize Lee Jun-ho as a member of the popular K-POP boy group 2PM. Im Yoon-ah stars as Cheon Sa-rang and is known as a member of the K-POP girl group Girls’ Generation.
