Sweet Magnolias star announces pregnancy news in sweet Instagram post

It seems congratulations are in order for Sweet Magnolias star Carson Rowland who announced on Father’s Day he and his wife are expecting their first child together!

On June 18, Rowland took to Instagram where he shared the exciting news with his fans that he and his wife, Maris, are expecting their first this November. In the Instagram post, Carson and Maris took to the beach to reveal the news in a series of stunning photos including a sweet shot of the pair holding their ultrasound photos.

"“Baby Rowland coming in November,” Rowland beamed, excitedly sharing the news. “Your mom and I love you so much already. We can’t wait to meet you!"

After years of dating, Carson officially popped the question in July 2021 and the couple wed just a few short months later in October.

Needless to say, it did not take long for Carson Rowland’s Sweet Magnolias costars to share in Rowland’s celebration with many members of the cast congratulating the young actor via his Instagram post announcing his wife’s pregnancy.

Among the first to reply was actress JoAnna Garcia Swisher, who plays Rowland’s mom on the Netflix series. “I’m losing my marbles,” Swisher began, adding, “Love you two so much! Cannot wait to spoil this baby!!!”

Fellow lead, Heather Headley, who plays Helen Decatur on the show, shared Swisher’s excitement, writing, “Congratulations! I’m so happy for you both and that precious little one whose going to be the most perfect magnolia! We’re all going to be AUNTIES!!!”

“LET’S GOOOOO,” wrote Rowland’s on-screen brother Logan Allen. While fellow costar Jamie Lynn Spears was clearly over the moon writing, “Omggggggg omgggggg omg!!! Congrats!” Added Dian Johnstone, “Happy pre-birth Father’s Day! And a HUGE congratulations to both of you.”

Even author Sheryl Anderson, who wrote the bestselling books that inspired the series jumped in to send her love with a quick, “Congratulations!”

Sweet Magnolias season 3 premieres July 20 on Netflix.
