Netflix is adding 17 new movies and shows this week (June 18, 2023)

A new week is here (June is going way too fast!), and with it comes a bunch of new movies and shows to Netflix. This week, they are adding a new dramedy series, an animated adventure show, and a new romantic comedy.

First up is Glamorous! The new series stars Kim Cattrall, Miss Benny, Graham Parkhurst, and Damian Terriquez. The show follows Marco as he lands a job with legendary beauty icon Madolyn Addison. Marco gets a summer internship position to help revamp the failing beauty brand Glamorous. Madolyn wants him to be her eyes and ears around the company, and in return, she will teach him everything she knows.

The new series comes out on Thursday, June 22, 2023.

More in the mood for some action adventure? Skull Island is headed to Netflix on Thursday, June 22. The animated series follows a group of explorers shipwrecked on an island in the Pacific Ocean. Unfortunately, they are not alone on the island. They are there with various dangerous creatures, including a giant ape named Kong.

The Perfect Find, Glamorous, and Skull Island on Netflix this week

If you saw the live-action movie Kong: Skull Island, this looks like an animated version, except these explorers don’t go looking for the island.

Are you looking for some romance instead? The romantic comedy The Perfect Find is headed to Netflix on Friday, June 23. The film follows Jenna, who is trying to return to the fashion world. Unfortunately, falling for your co-worker and boss’s son does not always mean your career will skyrocket. Is Jenna willing to risk the career of her dreams for love?

The cast features Gabrielle Union, Keith Powers, Gina Torres, D.B. Woodside, Aisha Hinds, and LaLa Anthony.
