New Netflix shows and movies coming in July 2023

There’s no better way to celebrate summer than with some new Netflix shows and movies, and Netflix sure brings the heat this July with highly anticipated new seasons, series, and movies.

After an incredible run of new titles in June, which brought the final seasons of Manifest and Never Have I Ever, as well as Black Mirror season 6, Extraction 2, and the beginning of The Witcher season 3, the momentum continues for an exciting summer.

The Lincoln Lawyer season 2 (part 1)

Release Date: July 6

Mickey Haller is back, and he’s making his grand return in The Lincoln Lawyer season 2 sooner than expected. Although we previously had the crime thriller pegged for a fall drop on Netflix, the hit series makes its comeback this summer, with a two-part release. The first half of the season arrives just after the Fourth of July holiday, and the second half drops on Aug. 3.

Survival of the Thickest

Release Date: July 13

The Circle host Michelle Buteau stars in her latest Netflix project, this time the scripted comedy series Survival of the Thickest. In the eight-episode series, which is based on the star’s book, Buteau stars as Mavis Beaumont. She’s described as a struggling stylist who’s newly single and attempting to thrive in all aspects of her life. It’s sure to be laugh-out-loud funny!

Sweet Magnolias season 3

Release Date: July 20

Get ready to pour it out with the Sweet Magnolias! The fan-favorite trio finally returns with the eagerly awaited Sweet Magnolias season 3, which debuts on July 20. The new season picks up in the aftermath of the explosive season 2 finale and finds the Magnolias with choices to make, whether about their personal lives or a mysterious figure posing a threat.

The Witcher season 3 volume 2

Release Date: July 27

Following the first volume’s release on June 29, which contains five episodes, the final three episodes of The Witcher’s third season debut on July 27. The third season marks the last for Henry Cavill, who will hand over the role of Geralt to Liam Hemsworth in season 4. See how season 3 ends in July!
