Heart of Stone starring Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan is the latest Netflix original action movie to be released on the streaming service, and it’s up first in our ranking of the best action movies to stream right now. 1. Heart of Stone

Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan star in Netflix’s latest big-budget action flick, Heart of Stone, a globe-trotting adventure directed by Tom Harper, whose previous credits include Peaky Blinders and War & Peace.

Heart of Stone is all about a quantum supercomputer called the “Heart” and the multiple people vying to get their hands on it—or protect it.

Gadot plays a super-spy tasked with doing whatever it takes to keep the Heart safe. She works for a secretive peacekeeping organization known as the Charter. The Charter operates outside government control and uses the Heart to calculate the odds in any given situation. They use the Heart to create ideal outcomes in high-stakes situations.

Gadot delivers a serviceable performance, but the she’s often outshined by her co-star, Alia Bhatt, a popular Indian actress. Heart of Stone marks her big Hollywood debut.

Heart of Stone received poor reviews from critics. However, audiences have been more forgiving. It’s no masterpiece by any means, but if you’re looking for a Mission Impossible-esque spy thriller with lots of action, then Heart of Stone is a fine choice.
