Considering how much content Netflix gives its viewers each month, it can take a few minutes for the binge-watches to catch up with the release calendar. So, that means a show could start making some noise a few months too late until the viewers realize the plug has already been pulled. That seemed to be the case with the one-and-done supernatural horror series Chambers.

Sivan Alyra Rose stars in Chambers as teenager Sasha Yazzie, who receives the heart of young girl Becky in a transplant. Following the procedure, Sasha begins to have increasingly haunting visions that she can’t explain. However, with each new vision, Sasha uncovers the shocking mystery and conspiracy behind the death of her heart donor, Becky.

Chambers began streaming its 10-episode first season in April 2019, though didn’t quite become the spring hit Netflix was aiming for. In addition, tepid reviews calmed the buzz surrounding the new series starring Scandal star Tony Goldwyn and Hollywood heavyweight Uma Thurman. Unfortunately, its minor cult status wasn’t enough to save Chambers from its one-season fate.
