Love is Blind season 5 finale date, time, reunion, cast, trailer, and more

Love is Blind season 5 premiered on Friday, Sept. 22, and the season is almost over. At the time of publishing, we’re only waiting for the final episode of the season: The Weddings. Now, Netflix has confirmed what we’ve really been waiting for, the Love is Blind season 5 reunion. The reunion is scheduled to be released on Sunday, Oct. 15. Hopefully, Netflix will avoid the disaster of last season’s live reunion which was delayed by a full day, basically.

The Love is Blind season 5 reunion is not live this year, but it won’t be released at the normal time that Netflix releases its original shows and movies. The Love is Blind season 5 reunion is coming to Netflix at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET on Sunday, Oct. 15. Will Netflix crash again? We’ll just have to wait and see!

The reunion will be hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, the hosts of the dating series, and they’ll be digging into all the drama of season 5. There’s so much to cover!

But first, we have the weddings episode, also known as the season finale, of Love is Blind season 5 coming to Netflix at 12 a.m. PT/3 a.m. ET on Friday, Oct. 13.

• Week 5 (Sunday, October 15): The Reunion

Love is Blind season 5 premieres at 12:00 a.m. PT on Friday, Sept. 22. The first four episodes will be available at the time. New episodes of Love is Blind season 5 will be added to Netflix at 12:00 a.m. PT on their scheduled release date.

Which couples are still together?

Coming out of the pods, there were only three couples who officially got engaged:

• Milton and Lydia 
• Izzy and Stacy 
• JP and Taylor

Uche and Aaliyah broke up after Aaliyah got weirded out over Uche and Lydia’s previous relationship, while Johnie and Chris did not get engaged. As we learned, Uche and Aaliyah are not together anymore. Chris and Johnie reconnected after filming the pods, and they were together but not engaged, when we meet up with them later in the season.

JP and Taylor got engaged, but they didn’t make it out of Mexico as a couple. They broke up before returning home.

As for the couples heading into the weddings, Milton and Lydia and Izzy and Stacy are still together, and we’re about to find out on Oct. 13 if they are going to say “I do” or “I don’t.”

At TUDUM, Netflix released the first official sneak peek from the upcoming season.

Vanessa Lachey told E! News in the spring of 2022 that filming on Love is Blind season 5 was in the works. We know it doesn’t take a full year to film these seasons, so we have to assume that Love is Blind season 5 is already done filming.

Obviously, a lot of prep goes into these seasons, but once they get rolling, it’s a pretty short shoot. There’s obviously a timeline with the pods, a week in Mexico (or in a resort somewhere), and then back four to six weeks where they live before the weddings.

Love is Blind season 5 was filmed in Houston, Texas.

Are there more Love is Blind seasons in the works?

Officially, Netflix has not commented on the future of Love is Blind after season 5. But, these shows do not exist in a vacuum. It’s quite easy to find information about Love is Blind because of casting and filming. This show is also a juggernaut in the world of reality TV, and it’s so hard to keep things a secret. I mean, look at The Bachelor, we know every date, where it is, and who is on it before it happens. That’s not quite how it is for Love is Blind, but it’s not that trajectory.
