Mulligan synopsis: What is the adult animated series about?

May 2023 on Netflix is one of the best months we’ve ever had on the site thus far. Not only did we see this month give us the precious treasure that is Queen Charlotte but, throughout the rest of this month, we’ll see even more anticipated releases that we’re sure everyone will love.

One of these titles we’re looking forward to is Mulligan, an animated series by the same people that brought us Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. And while this show is just as kooky and hilarious as the 2015 series, there are tons of different aspects that you’ll come to find that set this series apart from the rest.

What is Mulligan on Netflix about?

Mulligan follows the life of a society torn apart by the invasion of aliens.

With only a thousand survivors left, they must find a way to rebuild society from scratch. This is easier said than done, as everyone has different priorities. Some would see to the recreation of the Fast and the Furious franchise, while others would rather find a way to bring back outdated eras that aren’t as fun as everyone remembers them to be. Either way, they have to find a way to balance living out their new normal while recreating something special.
