Choose Love starring Laura Marano release date, cast, synopsis, and more

Netflix is once again trying their hand at an interactive piece of media subscribers can stream on the platform. The latest one set to hit Netflix is Choose Love, a romcom that lets viewers pick the path the main character takes in her love life.

The streamer has increasingly become a hot spot for romantic content from big YA franchises like To All the Boys and The Kissing Booth to the hugely popular Bridgerton universe. However, they’re all pre-set stories. Choose Love adds an exciting element to the table by allowing subscribers to experience multiple outcomes and endings to the story.

Our leading lady is recording engineer Cami Conway. She’ll be played by Laura Marano whose recent Netflix original romance The Royal Treatment endeared viewers who love the genre.

Cami is torn between three men. There’s her boyfriend Paul who’s perfect for her and yet there’s something missing in their relationship. The British rock star Rex who becomes infatuated with her the minute he walks into the studio. And Jack, Cami’s first love who’s finally come home after traveling the globe.

Netflix has finally announced the official release date for the interactive rom-com. Mark your calendar for Thursday, Aug. 31, 2023, because that’s when Choose Love will be dropped in your Netflix account! Like typical Netflix releases, you can expect the film to come out at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET on Aug. 31.

The synopsis via Variety:

"In the film, Cami Conway (Marano) has it all. She’s got the job she wants as a recording engineer and is headed towards engagement, marriage and kids with her wonderful boyfriend, Paul (Foster). And yet, she feels something is missing. Is it just FOMO and the fear of commitment that goes with it? Or is she actually missing out on an even better career, perhaps the long abandoned singing career she once dreamed of? And is Paul the love of her life? What if it’s Rex Galier (Jogia), the sexy British rock star, who walks into her studio and becomes irrepressibly smitten? Or could it be Jack Menna (Webber), her first love, “the one that got away”, the idealistic world traveler, who returns home and is ready to rekindle their youthful passion? The film will give viewers the chance to decide Cami’s journey with multiple outcomes and even multiple endings."

Is there a Choose Love trailer?
