The To All the Boys trilogy came to a close with Always and Forever‘s premiere on February 12, 2021. However, the film isn’t our last venture into the universe that gave fans of the book series a live-action version of Lara Jean and Peter K.’s love story. Netflix is taking us back for another dose of romance, but we’ll be switching perspectives in XO, Kitty and storytelling mediums.

That’s right, Kitty Song Covey is stepping up to the plate of love to take her own crack at romance, and she’s doing so with quite the big gesture. If you’ve seen the third movie, then you know Kitty fell in like with a boy named Dae during her trip to Seoul, South Korea with her family.

For the rest of the movie, the two carried on a long distance relationship. Now, it seems XO, Kitty will be reuniting the two in a 10-episode series. While we don’t know if Kitty and Dae’s relationship will be the central focus of every 30 minute episode, we do know love certainly will be.

Kitty, after all, fashions herself not only as a matchmaker but also as a young woman who has romance figured out much better than both of her sisters. Turns out, that might now be the case which will be a surprise to her but not anyone else who knows that when it’s your heart on the line, things get harder to read and navigate.

But when will we see Kitty make her own stumbling way through love? Here’s what we know!

XO, Kitty release date predictions

As XO, Kitty was just given its season order, we won’t be seeing the series premiere on Netflix in 2021. We’re looking at a 2022 release date window for the show. Likely sometime in the fall. We’ll keep you posted on more news concerning the upcoming series as it comes in.
