Ever since the first half of Manifest season 4 premiered on Netflix in November 2022, Manifesters have been hungry for details on the second half of the final season. While the wait rages on for the bittersweet ending of the series (as of April 4), a new tease hits us right in the feels.

According to TV Line, an original Manifest cast member was given the unexpected task of delivering a series-ending monologue on the final day of filming. The monologue will be played over the show’s “emotional” closing moments. TL;DR: We’re going to cry.

But which cast member will be delivering this heartstring-tugging speech in the the Manifest series finale? We have a few predictions ahead of the upcoming release of season 4 part 2, and we’re diving into the options below the spoiler warning!

Warning: Spoilers ahead from Manifest season 4 part 1!

Who says the Manifest season 4 finale monologue?

As if we didn’t already know that the Manifest series finale would be an emotional hour to take in, here comes a brand-new layer of added emotion. Thankfully, now all of us Manifesters can prepare as best we can for the final scene of the series. It’s going to be a gut punch!

To get us all up to speed on the same clues, here’s the exact wording of the tease from TV Line:

"“On the final day of filming, one of the original cast members was surprised to be handed a big ol’ monologue that wasn’t in the original script, which plays over the supernatural-tinged family drama’s emotional closing moments. (And by all accounts, said cast member crushed it with the last-minute assignment.)”"

Not to get too deep into semantics, but TV Line notes that it’s “one of the original cast members” who was given the surprise monologue on the final day of filming. Because of this wording, we have the following cast member options: Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis, J. R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, Jack Messina, Parveen Kaur, and Matt Long.

Any of these cast members would deliver quite the ugly cry-inducing monologue, but which one makes the most sense? If we’re looking at departed original cast members, either Karkanis or Messina could be the one to read the parting words to us devoted Manifesters and land this plane. What a better way to end this story than with the original Cal Stone or the deeply adored Grace?

But what if the powers that be wanted to pack an extra punch?

Of course, in Manifest season 4 part 1, Zeke died after sacrificing himself to save Cal. If Zeke in fact remains dead in the second half of the final season, then Matt Long’s appearances in the last 10 episodes will be limited. Zeke could totally share some wisdom from beyond the grave to wrap up the series, and we all know Long would absolutely crush it, as TV Line teased.

Right now, our prediction for who delivers Manifest’s series finale monologue is Matt Long as the beloved Zeke Landon, but when it comes to Manifest, you can’t go wrong with any of the cast members to send off the series into the sunset. Who do you think was tasked with the monologue, and which character to you hope bids us farewell in the ending?

Manifest season 4 part 2 premieres June 2 on Netflix.
