Netflix is adding 15 new movies and shows this week

The first week of April is here! And with it comes a few new movies and shows to Netflix. Some of the new things include a Netflix Original series, a Netflix kids’ movie, and a historical series.

Probably the biggest series headed to Netflix this week is BEEF. It hits the streaming service on Thursday, April 6, 2023. The series stars Steven Yeun, Ali Wong, Young Mazino, David Choe, Ashley Park, and Patti Yasutake.

It follows two people who let one road rage incident spiral out of control into a full-on rage feud. They slowly become obsessed with revenge against one another. This looks so freaking good!

Netflix is adding Chupa and BEEF this week

Chupa is also headed to Netflix on Friday, April 7. The movie follows a kid who, while visiting family in Mexico, meets a young chupacabra who he becomes friends with. When he realizes people are searching for his new friend, he goes on a mission to save him and that takes him on an adventure of a lifetime.

Chupa stars Christian Slater, Demián Bichir, Evan Whitten, Julio Cesar Cedillo, Alex Knight, and Brenda Lorena Garcia.

Looking for a historical drama? Transatlantic is coming to Netflix on Friday, April 7. The series stars Gillian Jacobs, Cory Michael Smith, Nadiv Molcho, Yoli Fuller, Corey Stoll, Lucas Englander, Ralph Amoussou, Deleila Piasko, and Gregory Montel.

It tells the true story of an American journalist who spent 13 months in France during WWII. She arranged safe passage for over 2,000 refugees out of France and to the U.S. with the Emergency Rescue Committee.
