Gabriel Basso stars as FBI agent Peter Sutherland in Netflix’s The Night Agent, and he’s garnered tons of new fans because of his outstanding performance in the series. But of course, his acting skills aren’t the only reason for his newfound fanbase. No, Basso is not married. In fact, it doesn’t appear that he’s dating anyone, either. We’ve searched all over his social media account for any clues to who he could possibly be in a relationship with and came up empty.

While some celebrities are open to giving fans a glimpse into their love life, Basso isn’t one of those people. It seems that he prefers to keep his romantic life off of social media. He could be dating someone right now, but we’d never know unless he’s spotted out with the person or he publicly announces he’s in a relationship.

It’s not surprising that people would think Basso was dating or married to someone since he has a daughter. However, he’s never revealed the identity of his child’s other parent. This is another reason why we believe Basso likes to keep his personal life private and away from the public eye.

Basso first shared that he had a daughter in August 2020 when he posted a cute photo of him and her on Instagram. The caption read, “There’s a new Basso on the planter.” However, he did not reveal his infant daughter’s name at the time.

Since announcing he was a father, Basso has posted a couple more photos of his daughter on his Instagram page. His latest Instagram post with his daughter was on Feb. 3. In the photo, Basso makes a goofy face at his daughter as she stands on a chair.

The caption to the post reads, “A glimpse into the pit of insanity. If you live in the midst of chaos your thinking becomes chaotic and disorganized. Indeed. That is my ultimate secret to remaining inhumanly tense and on edge. Always keep yourself guessing so that your enemies and rivals wont have any idea what your next move will be. Always wear your gi. And always possess wrist control when addressing a toddler.”

The gifted actor was born in St. Louis, Missouri to Marcie and Louis J. Basso Jr. He was homeschooled along with his two sisters who are actresses as well. His younger sister, Annalise Basso, has appeared in many TV shows and movies such as Desperate Housewives, Lie to Me, Bones, Parks and Recreation, New Girl, The Red Road, Bedtime Stories, Love Takes Wing, Standing Up, Oculus and Ouija: Origin of Evil. His older sister, Alexandra Basso, had minor roles in the movies Alice Upside Down and Seduced. She also appeared in two episodes of iCarly.
