Super Mario Bros. Movie coming to Netflix in December
After premiering on Peacock for a few months, the film is making its way to Netflix, officially on Sunday, December 3 at midnight PT/3:00 a.m. ET.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie is centered around Mario and his brother Luigi, two Brooklyn plumbers who are working underground to fix a water main, per the synopsis. When they slip through a “mysterious pipe,” they find themselves in a “magical new world.”
The brothers get separated though and Mario goes on a mission to find Luigi, and he’ll get that help from Princess Peach and Toad. Along the way, the heroic character “taps into his own power.” And if all that wasn’t enough for Mario, the trailer reveals that Bowser is planning to take over the magical world, and Peach is determined to save Mushroom Kingdom. She’ll need everyone’s favorite plumber to do so!
The Super Mario Bros. Movie makes its Netflix debut on Sunday, December 3, 2023.
