Love is Blind season 2 cast: Where are they now?

After a successful first season, everyone was ready to watch Love is Blind season 2 to see a new bunch of eligible single men and women hopefully find love. As expected, the second season was another smash hit for the streamer. And like the first season, only two engaged couples got hitched at the end of Love is Blind season 2. So where are these couples today in 2023? Are they still together? Here’s what we know.

There were six engaged couples at the beginning of the season. While five of the couples at least made it to the altar, the remaining couple called it quits earlier on. That couple was Shaina Hurley and Kyle Abrams, but I don’t think anyone was surprised by this happening. They weren’t compatible and had too many differences. But the other five couples who made it to the altar couldn’t make it work either and instead chose to part ways.

Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones and Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson were the two engaged couples to say their vows and get married. But was anyone really surprised by these couples actually getting married? Yes, both couples had their issues and disagreements that they needed to work through. But these two couples were the most solid of the couples in the season.

So, what is Iyanna and Jarrette up to in 2023? What about Danielle and Nick?

Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones from Love is Blind season 2 now

It didn’t look like Iyanna and Jarrette would become a couple at the beginning of the season since Jarrette seemed more into Mallory. But Jarrette ultimately got down on one knee to propose to Iyanna in the pods. While spending time together and getting to know one another outside of the pods, Iyanna began to notice things about Jarrette that she disagreed with, such as his bachelor lifestyle. However, Jarrette told her he would work on it, and they two got married in the final episode.

During the reunion special, Iyanna and Jarrette still seemed happily in love. They told the hosts that they had grown a lot since getting married and were working on finding a balance between their different lifestyles. But sadly, the couple called it quits in August 2022 and released a joint statement on social media to announce their split.

Today, Iyanna co-hosts a podcast called Feel In The Blank with a woman named Kayla Gerald. She also has a paid partnership with the Budlight company. It appears she’s still close friends with her Love is Blind castmates, Natalie Lee, Danielle Ruhl, Mallory Zapata, and Deepti Vempati. It’s unclear if she’s dating anyone at the moment.

On the other hand, Jarrette also co-hosts a podcast called The Gentleman’s Lounge. Based on his Instagram posts, it looks like he still lives in Chicago. But his current relationship status is unknown. You can find Jarrette on Instagram @thejjones_05.

Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson from Love is Blind season 2 now

In my opinion, Danielle and Nick were the couple most likely to end up married at the end of the season. They seemed to be the most compatible. Like the other couples, Danielle and Nick had their issues but it seemed like issues they could work through. Apparently, their problems got the best of them because they decided to file for divorce in August 2022.

Today, Danielle works as a brand ambassador for Nutrisystem. She’s also very passionate about the importance of mental health and was a guest on the Mindful Space podcast to discuss her previous struggles with mental health. You can find her on Instagram @dnellruhl.

According to Nick’s Instagram bio, he’s a mental health and wellness advocate and a news and politics critic. He also hosts his own podcast called Conversations with Nick Thompson and wrote a book that gives people the tools and tips to keep a strong connection with themselves.

Where is Shayne Jansen from Love is Blind season 2 now?

Shayne recently appeared on Netflix’s Perfect Match, hoping to find love again. Even though he hit it off with several of the single women on the show, he ultimately ended up with no one. His current relationship status is unknown, but he appears to be single. He still resides in Chicago and works in real estate. You can find him on Instagram @shaynejansen.

Where is Shaina Hurley from Love is Blind season 2 now?

Although things didn’t work out with Kyle and Shayne, Shaina did eventually find the one. In July 2022, Shaina got married to a man named Christos Lardakis. However, they decided to have a courthouse wedding with an “official wedding” planned in Greece later that month.

It looks like they did have a follow-up ceremony in Greece because Shaina shared pictures from the special day on her Instagram page on July 23, 2022. She still lives in Chicago, Illinois, but enjoys traveling and visiting new places with her husband.
