Burlesque, the 2010 backstage musical starring music icons Cher and Christina Aguilera, was added to Netflix in March 2023 and reached the Top 10 most popular movies. The camp classic movie stars Xtina as an aspiring singer who begins her career at a struggling burlesque club.

The movie also stars Cam Gigandet, Stanley Tucci, Eric Dane, Kristen Bell, Julianne Hough, Alan Cumming, and Peter Gallagher. Although it received mixed reviews, it performed well at the box office and has been a cult favorite ever since.

On top of its onces-in-a-lifetime team-up of Aguilera and Cher, the movie also boasts an amazing soundtrack full of original songs by its Grammy-winning hit maker stars and additional songs that set the tone of the romantic comedy musical. Two of its songs — “You Haven’t Seen the Last of Me” and “Bound to You” — were even nominated for Golden Globes.

Upon the film’s release, the Grammy-nominated soundtrack was released on CD, but it was later pressed on limited edition vinyl. If you’re not a collector, you can the soundtrack can still be streamed and downloaded wherever you get your music.
