It’s going to be a great year for new Netflix shows. There are so many good shows coming this year, and if you’re looking for the best Netflix shows of 2023 so far, you came to the right place.

We’re still very early into the year, but Netflix has already released a couple of excellent new original shows this year, including Outer Banks, You, The Glory, and more. There are many more great Netflix shows to come in 2023, between exciting new series and returning favorites, but we’re highlighting the great Netflix Originals that have kicked off the year.

We’re highlighting the best Netflix shows released in 2023. Since it’s only February, there aren’t many options yet, but we’ll keep this list updated all year long. The latest update to the list was on Saturday, Feb. 25.

Outer Banks

Outer Banks season 3 premiered on Netflix on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023, and it’s been a monster hit for the streaming network so far. The show skyrocketed to the No. 1 spot on the Netflix Top 10 within one day of its release, and it’s looking like this will be the biggest Netflix release of 2023 so far in terms of total hours watched.

The third season picks up with the Pogues pretty much right after the events of the season 2 finale. No spoilers from us, though! The whole gang is back for season 2: Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Jonathan Daviss, Rudy Pankow, Madison Bailey, Carlacia Grant, Drew Starkey, and Austin North. The stakes are so much higher this season as the Pogues get closer and closer to the mystery of the Royal Merchant gold and the origin of this treasure hunt.

Outer Banks season 4 is already in the works on Netflix. The streaming network let the cast announce the news at Poguelandia, the concert event to kick off the release of season 3 on Netflix. Unfortunately, we’re in for a long wait for the new season of the series, but there are so many good shows to watch on Netflix right now.
