The third season sees John B, Sarah, Pope, JJ, Kie, and Cleo washed up on a deserted island, per the synopsis. While they’re enjoying their days in the secluded space, trouble seems to never leave this group as the “race for the treasure” pops up again, per the synopsis.

Does that race keep them on the island or do they find a way out? You’ll have to watch to see! But whether we leave the deserted island or not, there is a certain symbol that has piqued our interest.

If there’s anyone who took charge of naming the Pogues’ new home, and commemorating it with a flag with a fun drawing on it, it’s JJ. And we really aren’t surprised that our favorite troubled teen with great sarcasm and sense of humor is the one who is behind the fun of it all. We’re talking about the official Poguelandia flag that waves proudly on the teens’ new home.

It turns out that JJ is the one who named their safe haven Poguelandia, and he took it upon himself to commission the flag. So what’s the drawing on it? We get a glimpse, but it can be hard to make out. But thanks to Sarah in season 3 episode 6, we get detailed explanation.

The drawing on the Poguelandia flag is a chicken in a coconut bra, smoking a joint. Very JJ-like indeed! It was mentioned quickly, but it still makes me laugh because it certainly fits JJ’s personality, which we always love to see!
