Chase Stokes reprises his role as John B Routledge in Outer Banks season 3, and we’re excited to see what his character and the rest of the Pogues get into this season. Chase was born in Annapolis, Maryland, but moved several times when he was a kid. He left Maryland with his mother to relocate to Atlanta, Georgia, and then later moved to Orlando, Florida. He decided to stay in Florida for college and received his bachelor’s degree from Valencia College. Later, he attended the University of Central Florida and Seminole State College.

Initially, Chase’s dream was to become a professional ice hockey player, but he decided to pursue acting instead. Although he’s best known for his role as John B in Outer Banks, Chase has also had roles in Stranger Things, Daytime Divas, The Beach House, Dr. Bird’s Advice for Sad Poets and Tell Me Your Secrets. We’ll see him next in a Netflix sci-fi film called The Uglies.

Chase stands at 6 feet 1 inch, making him the tallest cast member out of the male Pogues. He’s one inch taller than Jonathan Daviss (Pope) and Rudy Pankow (JJ) who are both 6 feet tall. But although Chase is taller than Jonathan and Rudy, it’s hard to see the height difference when watching the trio stand together in scenes because they’re so close in height.

Chase was born on Sept. 16, 1992, making him 30 years old as of February 2023. He normally rocks his medium-length dark brown hair with blonde highlights, but he’s recently gotten rid of the blonde highlights and cut his hair short. In addition, Chase has beautiful hazel eyes.

He’s dating singer-songwriter, Kelsea Ballerini. They began dating in December 2022 after Kelsea slid into Chase’s direct messages on Instagram. Rumors about them dating began when Chase posted a photo of them cuddled up at a Georgia vs. TCU game at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on his Instagram page back in January. He even tagged her in the photo. They were also spotted by paparazzi showing some serious PDA at LAX airport.
