Martin Henderson teases ‘hot, steamy’ summer release for Virgin River season 5

There’s only one question on the minds of Virgin River fans: When is the Virgin River season 5 release date?! Since the shocking season 4 finale left us with so many cliffhangers and revelations, we have been wondering when the next season would arrive since July 2022.

Filming on Virgin River season 5 began back when the fourth dropped, and production wrapped before the end of 2022. That means, post-production has been in full force in 2023 for a planned release later this summer. But when exactly will that be?

Unfortunately, Netflix hasn’t made fans privy of that information as of February 2023, but the stars of the series have been offering little teases and tidbits about season 5. From postulating about a summer release to snaps from the ADR booth, Virgin River season 5 is definitely coming soon!

Recently, Martin Henderson, who plays the handsome fan-favorite character Jack Sheridan in the series, spoke to fans in a video and hinted at a possible (but still unofficial) release date for season 5. Here’s what the actor shared and why we think it’s accurate!

Virgin River season 5 could release in July 2023

In a video shared on Twitter by user VirginRiverPassionate, Martin Henderson says the following: “Season 5 coming out, I think, probably in July. So, not long now, a few months, in another installment of hot, steamy gossip and intrigue on the river.”

We’ll take all the hot and steamy Virgin River gossip! Leave it to Henderson to turn something as exciting as a potential release date for Virgin River season 5 into something funny and entertaining. It’s certainly going to be hotter and steamier this summer if season 5 does in fact drop in July.

Although July 2023 had pretty much been the popular consensus for the upcoming season’s release date, just based on the releases of season 3 and 4, Alexandra Breckenridge also backed up Henderson’s summer release date claim in a video of her own. If Mel and Jack have their eyes on another July release for the series, then they must be right on the money.
