February is the month of love. Between Witherspoon’s latest film and a charming Indonesian movie perfect for teens, there are plenty of great options to get you into the romantic spirit this weekend.

Best Netflix movies to watch (and to skip) this weekend

What are you in the mood to watch this weekend? Here are a few options to check out (and some to avoid).

Your Place or Mine

Watch! If you’re in the mood for love, what better way to ignite the spark than watching a new Reese Witherspoon movie? Witherspoon stars opposite Ashton Kutcher in this feel-good rom-com inspired by the films from the early 2000s. It’s one of Netflix’s biggest February releases and shouldn’t be missed!

Eat Pray Love

Skip! With Valentine’s Day nearing, you might be considering watching this 2010 film starring Julia Roberts based on the bestselling novel of the same name, but honestly, there are more enjoyable romances to watch on Netflix. This movie is forgettable and doesn’t resonate.

Dear David

Watch! Did you love the sweetness and plot of To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before? If so, you should consider checking out this Indonesian teen drama about a high schooler who writes fantasy fiction about her crush on an anonymous blog. When her blog is leaked to the entire school, she has to figure out how to reconcile her real personality with her fantasy persona.

Enough

Skip! This Jennifer Lopez movie from 2002 recently arrived on Netflix and has gradually crept into the Top 10 chart, but while it’s an easy-to-watch thriller, it’s not one of the best films that Netflix has to offer, nor is it one of J.Lo’s best movies either. You can easily skip this forgettable film.

10 Days of a Good Man

Watch! 10 Days of a Good Man is a new dark Turkish crime thriller based on a book about a private investigator on the hunt for a missing person. What starts as a fairly ordinary case propels him on a life-changing quest.

NOTE: 10 Days of a Good Man is not yet on Netflix, it’s unclear why as the trailer and other info provided has stated Feb. 10 is the release date. Keep an eye out for it to appear this weekend and in the meantime, add it to your list to receive a reminder when it finally goes live.
