Norways first werewolf movie Viking Wolf is now streaming on Netflix. What happens to Thale at the end of Viking Wolf? Is the werewolf curse undone? Keep reading to find out all the significant events that occur during the end of Netflix’s latest horror film.

Spoilers ahead for Viking Wolf

If you’re looking for something scary and bloody to watch this weekend, then look no further than Netflix’s latest international horror movie Viking Wolf. The new film follows a small town in Norway plagued by a werewolf curse as people start dying left and right, and the local police force must contend with a terrifying creature of mythical legend.

Whether you’ve watched the movie and still have questions or you’re just ready to know how it ends, below we’re recapping the Viking Wolf movie ending.

Who dies in Viking Wolf?

A lot of unnamed victims die when Thale goes on her rampage on the bus and through town. There are also some unidentified bodies in the woods from the original werewolf. The first werewolf kills a teenager named Elin, kicking off the plot, and later in the film, Thale kills Jonas.

It also seems like the sheriff died (someone sees his werewolf bite and takes him off life support at the hospital) and the werewolf hunter, Lars. Arthur also sustains a bite or a scratch in the skirmish against Thale. Will Arthur also turn into a werewolf?

Does Jenny die in Viking Wolf?

The only person Thale seems to recognize in her werewolf state is her little sister Jenny. Thale doesn’t attack Jenny. She survives to the end of the movie.

What happens to Thale at the end of Viking Wolf?

At the end of the movie, after Liv and the scientist working together manage to tranquilize Thale (with Jenny’s assistance), Liv brings a gun loaded with a silver bullet to put an end to her daughter’s reign of terror once and for all. But we never see Liv pull the trigger, and Viking Wolf ends with her at home, placing the silver bullet on her bedside table, implying that she couldn’t bring herself to kill Thale.

That means Thale is probably still out there somewhere, either still in the lab or Liv might have taken her and brought her somewhere else. The ending is pretty ambiguous, so anything could have happened to Thale. Maybe there will be a sequel!
