Bridgerton season 3 is not coming to Netflix in February 2023

Ever since Bridgerton‘s super successful first two seasons made fans fall in love with the characters from page to screen, the anticipation for Bridgerton season 3 has been high. New episodes didn’t arrive by Christmas, but will they be here for Valentine’s Day?

February will be without a new batch of episodes from the Bridgerton universe, as the upcoming spinoff prequel Queen Charlotte will also not arrive in time for a release at the beginning of 2023. But news on the long awaited new season and spinoff should arrive soon.

In the third season of the Regency romance series, Colin and Penelope’s (affectionately known as Polin) love story will take center stage. Don’t worry, we’ll still catch up with Anthony and Kate, whose own love story was the forefront of the incredible second season.

Unfortunately, Bridgerton isn’t coming back with season 3 in February 2023. The complete list of new release movies and shows for the month was revealed and the drama series wasn’t included. However, we have a solid idea of a potential release window for the season.

Bridgerton season 3 latest updates February 2023

Because of Bridgerton’s premiere on Netflix on Christmas Day in 2020 and the second season’s release in March 2022, fans have grown accustomed to learning details on a new season by this point in the year. But as of the end of January 2023, there’s no word on season 3.

A recent rumor that filming on the third season was halted due to Shonda Rhimes being displeased with the direction the stories had taken was proven false. Production on Bridgerton season 3 still seems on track for a wrap at the end of January 2023.

If filming does indeed wrap by the end of January, the post-production process could take up to six months. That means, fans will have to continue to wait patiently for a release in fall or winter 2023. Hopefully, Queen Charlotte will arrive this spring or summer to hold us over.
