Women at War season 2: Will there be another season on Netflix?

If you haven’t started the series, we recommend giving it a try. However, we know that many people have already watched all eight episodes and are wondering if there will be a second season. Women at War is a French period drama helmed by Alexandre Laurent. It’s set in France during World War I and follows four very different women whose lives intersect as they are forced to confront the difficult circumstances of war at home.

Additionally, the cast is made up of a talented bunch of French actors such as Audrey Fleurot, Sofia Essaïdi, Julie De Bona, Camille Lou, and many others.

So, will there be a Women at War season 2? Here’s what we know.

Is Women at War season 2 happening?

As of Jan. 20, Netflix has not announced whether there will be a second season or not. However, the chances of a second season happening is slim to none. The period drama is billed as a limited series, meaning that it’s a one-and-done type of show. In other words, the show will only consist of one season. In addition, the show’s storyline finished within the final episode of the series, so there isn’t any more story to tell in a second installment.

Although there most likely won’t be a Women at War season 2, you can look forward to the lead actresses’ upcoming projects. Fleurot will be in a miniseries called Infiltré(e). The official release date hasn’t been announced yet, but it’s expected to come out sometime in 2023. You’ll also be able to catch Lou in a comedy film called Chasse Gardée. It’s also expected to come out in 2023. However, Sofia Essaïdi and Julie De Bona’s next projects are unknown.
