How many episodes of That ’90s Show is the original cast in?

That ’90s Show is finally available to stream on Netflix, and everyone’s binge-watching it. While some people may be new viewers, others are fans of That ’70s Show and are watching the spinoff to see the original cast members. So, who can you expect to see make an appearance from the That ’70s Show cast? Also, what episodes do they appear in? We’ve got you covered!

When That ’90s Show was announced back in October 2021, Netflix revealed that at least two members of the show’s original cast had joined the spinoff. Kurtwood Smith (Red Forman) and Debra Jo Rupp (Kitty Forman) had signed on to reprise their roles. But the producers were hopeful that more That ’70s Show cast members would make guest appearances.

Fortunately, this actually happened after contract negotiations. It was announced that the That ’70s Show cast members Topher Grace, Laura Prepon, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Wilmer Valderrama, Tommy Chong, and Don Stark would be making special guest appearances in the new teen series. There’s also one other original cast member that pops up in the teen series, but they weren’t announced.

Since Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp are regular cast members, they appear in every episode of the first season. In addition, Tommy Chong (Leo) appears in episodes 2 and 9, and Don Stark (Bob) appears in episode 6. Jim Rash, who played Fenton in That ’70s Show, appears in episode 10.

That ’90s Show: How many episodes does Topher Grace appear in?

Sadly, Topher Grace (Eric Forman) only appears in the first episode. It’s unknown why Topher doesn’t appear in more episodes, but our guess is that he had other projects he was working on when production started on That ’90s Show. So he could only be on set for one episode. He’s currently a series regular on the comedy series Home Economics, so this could be the reason.

While Topher only appears in the first episode, his on-screen wife Laura Prepon (Donna Forman) appears in several episodes. She appears in the first episode with Topher, and then shows up in episodes 5 and 10.

Like Topher, Mila Kunis (Jackie Kelso) only appears in the first episode. She makes an appearance towards the end of the episode, and it’s very short. Hopefully, she returns if there is to be a That ’90s Show season 2.
