We’re so happy that Ginny and Georgia season 2 is finally available to stream on Netflix. We had to wait a long time for a new season, so we didn’t waste any time to start watching it. In fact, we’ve already sped through all 10 episodes, so we know everything that happens this season.

Although this show primarily centers around the Miller family, we also get to see the side stories of other characters close to the Miller family played out on screen. An example would be Max Baker, Ginny’s friend.

In Ginny and Georgia season 1, Max spends most of the season obsessing over popular Wellsbury High senior Sophie Sanchez. They eventually get together, but Sophie unexpectedly breaks things off with Max in the penultimate episode. Sophie’s reason for breaking up with Max was because she felt that she didn’t see them continuing to be girlfriends once she went off to college. Naturally, this hurts Max deeply, but she knows there’s nothing she can do to change Sophie’s mind.

Spoilers ahead from Ginny and Georgia season 2.

In Ginny and Georgia season 2, Max still isn’t in a good place. She’s still heartbroken from her breakup with Sophie and constantly wallows in her sorrows. Throughout the season, Max stalks Sophie on Instagram because she just can’t get over her. She becomes sadder when she finds out that Sophie has a new boyfriend. However, she still holds hope that one day Sophie will take her back. So, do Max and Sophie get back together this season? Find out below!

Do Max and Sophie get back together in Ginny and Georgia season 2?

No, Max and Sophie do not get back together in the second season. While Sophie seems to have moved on, Max spends most of the season pining over her. She constantly brings Sophie up in conversations with her friends and informs them of what Sophie posts on her Instagram page. She even likes Sophie’s photos on Instagram and randomly texts her.

To make matters worse, every time Max bumps into Sophie at school, she always says something that makes things awkward between them. She embarrasses herself even further at the winter carnival.

When she notices that Sophie is next in line at the kissing booth, she asks Silver to switch places with her so she can be the one to go in the booth with Sophie. However, once she enters the booth, Sophie isn’t happy to see her at all. Sophie makes it clear to Max that there’s no chance of them ever getting back together. She also tells Max to stop liking her pictures on Instagram and to stop sending her random texts before leaving the booth. Once again, Max is left heartbroken by Sophie, but she should’ve seen this coming.

In episode 8, Sophie has a change of heart and invites Max out to get coffee. Max accepts the invitation, and they meet at Blue Farm Cafe. Sophie explains to Max why she’s been so standoffish. She reveals that their breakup has been hard on her, which Max is shocked by because she thought Sophie had moved on completely.

Max then asks Sophie about how her boyfriend is doing, and Sophie tells her that they broke up. Surprised by this information, Max continues and asks Sophie why she invited her out for coffee. Sophie tells Max that she misses her and would like to be friends. But Max tells Sophie she’s not ready to be friends because it’s still too soon. Then, Max apologizes to Sophie before walking away. There aren’t any more scenes of Max and Sophie together after this one.

So, it looks like Max and Sophie are entirely done based on that scene. Honestly, it’s for the best since Sophie will be heading off to college soon, and Max likes Silver now.

Ginny and Georgia season 2 is streaming now only on Netflix.
