Where was Ginny and Georgia season 2 filmed?

Like the first season, the second season was filmed in Toronto and Cobourg, Ontario, Canada. Filming took place at locations like King Street in Downtown Cobourg, the Parkdale-High Park district in York, Toronto, and the defunct Nelson A. Boylen Collegiate Institute.

On King Street, production was shot at The El (Blue Farm Cafe) and Victoria Hall (Wellsbury Town Hall). Scenes filmed outside the Miller and Baker’s homes were shot in the Parkdale-High Park District. The defunct Nelson A. Boylen Collegiate Institute in Toronto was used as the fictional Wellsbury High School. Lastly, many interiors for the teen series were most likely shot at a production studio in Canada.

Is Ginny and Georgia season 3 happening?

As of Jan. 3, Netflix has not handed out an early renewal for Ginny and Georgia. This isn’t surprising because the streamer doesn’t typically renew its shows before a new season comes out. It’ll most likely be a month or so after the second season’s release when Netflix will make an announcement on the show’s fate.

The first 28 days of the second season release on Netflix are very important. Depending on how many people stream Ginny and Georgia season 2 in its first four weeks on the streamer will have an effect on the show’s chances of being renewed for a third season. If the viewership numbers are high enough to Netflix’s standards, the teen series might just get the green light for a third season.
