Ginny & Georgia returns with its second season on Jan. 5. This season focuses on Ginny as she copes with knowing that her mom killed her stepdad. On the other hand, Georgia will have to figure out how to repair her relationship with Ginny while also working hard to stop more of her dark past from coming to light. And we can’t forget about wedding planning! But Ginny and Georgia aren’t the only characters whose stories we’ll watch play out. The other members of MANG (Max, Abby, Norah, and Ginny) will have their stories explored. One character we’re excited to see return this season is Abby Littman, portrayed by Katie Douglas.

When we first meet Abby in season 1, she comes off as rude and selfish. She even forces Ginny to steal earrings, only to throw her under the bus when they get caught. However, we later find out that Abby suffers from low self-esteem and struggles with body image. The first season even hints at her having an eating disorder. And to make matters worse, she struggles to cope with her parents’ divorce. Although this doesn’t give her the right to be cruel, it helps viewers understand why she acts the way she does.

But things don’t end well for Abby in the season 1 finale. After Max discovers that Abby knew about Ginny and Marcus hooking up and didn’t tell her, she decides that she wants nothing to do with her. In season 2, Max continues to give Abby and Ginny the cold shoulder, making Abby feel hopeless. Will MANG ever reunite? Find out by watching Ginny & Georgia season 2 on Netflix.
