Make it a priority to binge-watch, or re-binge, Wednesday before the ball drops on New Year’s Eve.

Chicago Party Aunt part 2

Skip! It’s been well over a year since the Netflix adult animated comedy series Chicago Party Aunt premiered in September 2021. While seemingly a cult hit, the comedy has been otherwise relegated to the background. The second part of the series, which will contain eight more episodes, arrives on Dec. 30, but it’s sure to be met with little fanfare in the midst of the holidays.

Alice in Borderland season 2

Watch! It’s been two years since the Japanese sci-fi thriller Alice in Borderland premiered on Netflix, and it’s one of the most anticipated releases of the year. The second season officially started streaming on Dec. 22, so if you managed to miss the release in the midst of Christmas chaos, sit back and relax on New Year’s Eve with eight all-new episodes.

The Circle season 5

Skip! Anyone else having reality television fatigue? For some, that sounds preposterous. Too much reality TV? Never! It’s been a long time coming for the fifth season, and devoted fans will be tuning in regardless. But if you’ve been bingeing your way through Love Is Blind, Too Hot to Handle, and more Netflix reality shows, pass on The Circle season 5 for now.

Ginny & Georgia

Watch! By the time Ginny & Georgia season 2 releases on Jan. 5, it will have almost been two years since the first season dropped in February 2021. If you loved the series, now’s the time to rewatch season 1 before the arrival of the new season, which will be full of new drama between the titular mother and daughter. It’s the perfect cozy binge to see off 2022.
