The Circle season 5 spoilers: Who was blocked and eliminated in episodes 1-4?

A new season of The Circle has arrived and, boy, this season did not waste time in sending players packing! While we’re used to seeing an elimination in the first four episodes of the show, this season kicked off with a round of shocking eliminations that proved this season is unlike any we’ve watched before!

Warning, spoilers for The Circle season 5 episodes 1-4 ahead! 

To kick off the game, eight players moved into The Circle with the addition of Xanthi, Brian aka Brittney, Brett, Raven, Marvin, Sam, Chaz, and Billie Jean aka Bruno. Two of these players are quickly shown the door which leads to the arrival of Tom and Jennifer.

So which players become the first players to get blocked this season? Let’s dive into the first eliminations of the season.

The Circle season 5 eliminations from episodes 1-4

As The Circle season 5 begins, Xanthi, Brian aka Brittney, Brett, Raven, Marvin, Sam, Chaz, and Billie Jean aka Bruno all move into The Circle where they attempt to make connections quickly. However, before anyone can truly even get to know one another, the time comes for everyone to vote for the first influencers of the season.

In a Circle first, we don’t immediately learn the identity of the influencers. Instead, each player must name who they’d block if they were named an influencer. The twist? Everyone must publically name who they’d block if named an influencer and the identity of those blocked will be revealed by The Circle only after it’s made known whether the player is an influencer.

This leads to an intense series of events that sees Xanthi and Brett being blocked by Raven and Chaz, respectively. The pair is eliminated from the game; however, in another twist, they’re given a second chance to remain in the game by teaming up as Jennifer — a brand new player who enters The Circle in Episode 2. Joining Jennifer in entering the game in episode 2 is Tom, who both make waves upon arriving in The Circle.

After The Circle players get acquainted with their new Circle besties, the time comes for yet another ranking that sees Raven and Chaz again named as influencers. This time, the pair must decide who to block together which leads them to eliminate Brian aka Brittney.
