A Not So Merry Christmas cast: Who stars in the Christmas movie?

There’s just something about holiday films like Scrooged, The Grinch, and Apple TV+’s Spirited, where the lead character isn’t a fan of Christmas or isn’t the best person but learns how to turn things around throughout the movie, that audiences like. Another to add to the list is the Mexican comedy, A Not So Very Christmas.

The Netflix film, which can be dubbed in English or watched through subtitles, follows Chuy, a grinchy guy who can’t seem to get into the holiday spirit. On Christmas Eve, which is also his birthday, the lead character takes a nasty fall. When he wakes up a year later, he has no memory of the past year, Netflix shares.

But that’s not all! He’s cursed to wake up on Christmas Eve over and over, reliving a holiday he despises so much. And with all that, Chuy must come to terms with what he’s done in the days he doesn’t remember.

The main character, Chuy, is played by Mexican actor Mauricio Ochmann. The talent has mostly played Spanish-speaking roles and is most known for being in telenovelas, but he did appear in the Kevin Costner film Message in a Bottle and the CBS series That’s Life. Former soap opera actress and Dynasty star Ana Brenda Contreras also stars.
