Released in November 2017, A Christmas Prince was one of Netflix’s first breakthrough holiday original films which helped the streaming giant to launch an incredible holiday movie universe.

In the film, Rose McIver stars as Amber, a young reporter who goes undercover to get the inside scoop on a playboy prince about to ascend to the throne. Needless to say, what Amber never expected was to get mixed up in the royal family’s lives or to fall for the charming prince she was sent to spy on.

This movie really has everything you could want in a holiday movie and is sure to leave you wanting more… Fortunately for fans, Netflix took notice of fans’ love of the film and launched a pair of sequels which further explored Amber’s budding romance going beyond the usual, “And they lived happily ever after,” ending we’re so used to seeing.
