We couldn’t stop after one Christmas Chronicles movie; we needed a sequel. The Christmas Chronicles 2 premiered on Netflix in 2020. There was a two-year gap between the first and second movie, but it was definitely worth the wait.

In The Christmas Chronicles 2, the Belsnickel brings Teddy and Kate to the North Pole and then begins to wreak havoc on the village and destroy Christmas. Everyone must band together to stop the Belsnickel.

As mentioned earlier in this piece, we definitely want to get The Christmas Chronicles 3 at some point. Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn as Santa and Mrs. Claus? It can’t only happen once!

At this point, it doesn’t look like there are plans for another sequel, but Netflix likes to make holiday trilogies. Look at A Christmas Prince and The Princess Switch. The Christmas Chronicles 3 seems like it should be happening.
