Oddballs season 2: Will there be another season on Netflix?

Oddballs is the latest animated series catching the attention of Netflix subscribers. Since releasing on October 7, Oddballs has been a constant on the Netflix Kids Top 10, and it also spent some time in the regular Netflix Top 10.

The popularity of the colorful series isn’t too surprising because creator James Rallison is known for his YouTube persona, TheOdd1sOut. Rallison is a talented cartoonist, voice actor, animator, and author. He co-created the show for Netflix with Ethan Banville. Netflix Animation collaborated with Atomic Cartoons on the project.

Set in the fictional town of Dirt, Arizona, Oddballs follows the adventures of a crocodile named Max, his best friend James (a fictionalized version of Rallison), and a time traveler named Echo.

If you’ve already watched the initial 12 episodes produced for the show’s first season, you might be wondering if Netflix plans to make Oddballs season 2. We don’t have much information on the show’s potential future, but here is what we do know.

Oddballs season 2: Will there be another season on Netflix?

At the time of writing this article on October 17, Netflix has not canceled or renewed Oddballs for a second season. Sometimes Netflix will order a significant number of episodes for animated shows and then divide that initial order into several seasons, as was the case with The Cuphead Show! and Dead End: Paranormal Park, but it doesn’t seem to be the case for Oddballs.

However, the creators must have thought they had a decent chance of getting renewed because the first season ends on a cliffhanger. We should have a definitive answer on the fate of Oddballs season 2 within the next few months, hopefully before the end of the year.
